Release 2026.9.25: bumps brand_version! from 2026.9.24.3 to 2026.9.25 (main never got the 2026.9.24.4 hotfix bump, which lives on release/2026.9.24.4).

This release carries everything merged since 2026.9.24.3 (#31–#48, #50–#52), including #46, whose fix production already has from the 2026.9.24.4 hotfix.

Rehearsed on a single-node RocksDB copy of the production store at c521f06: data digests and 82 search counts identical before/after, all checks passed, no performance regression, and the previous binary still reads the upgraded store (binary-swap rollback is safe).

After merge: tag v2026.9.25 on main.
