Follow-up to #196. vendor/hickory-dns/VENDORED.md said .cargo_vcs_info.json records the commit, but the repository ignores dotfiles, so those files were never committed (vendor/sieve-rs has none either). The note now says they are left out; the commit is already named at the top of the file. Docs only.
