Upstream published v0.16.26 on 2026-10-11. The fork's imported base is v0.16.25.

Import it as tools/fork/README.md describes:

git -C "$UPSTREAM_CLONE" fetch --tags
tools/fork/strip.py --upstream "$UPSTREAM_CLONE" --ref v0.16.26 --out /tmp/strip-v0.16.26

Commit the stripped tree to upstream with the strip report in the message, add any new third-party notices to THIRD-PARTY.md, then merge upstream into main.
