From 3f06e82ce2d692da5852be9ee0c8c55f5f87ef63 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: John Coffey Date: Mon, 5 Oct 2026 14:35:41 -0700 Subject: [PATCH] Say that a group's mail lands in a mailbox its members share The help for a group's name said "Mail to it reaches every member", which reads like a mailing list. Mail to a group is delivered into the group's own mailbox, which each member can open; it isn't copied to each of them (confirmed on a scratch server, 2026-10-05). A mailing list is what sends a copy to everyone. English help text only; it has no translations. typecheck, eslint and vitest (568 tests) pass. --- src/help/texts.ts | 3 ++- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/src/help/texts.ts b/src/help/texts.ts index 15d6440..4393075 100644 --- a/src/help/texts.ts +++ b/src/help/texts.ts @@ -52,7 +52,8 @@ export const FIELD_HELP: Record = { 'x:UserAccount.credentials': 'How this person signs in: a password, app passwords for mail apps, and more.', 'x:UserAccount.locale': 'The language for messages the server sends this person.', 'x:UserAccount.timeZone': 'Used for calendar invitations and scheduled messages.', - 'x:GroupAccount.name': 'The group’s address, before the @.
