Practice labs for the other 38 EX294 chapters. With 3.1, every EX294 chapter now has a lab: 39 in all, and 296 labs across the repo.

  • Every lab is SYSTEMS="rhel" and passes on AlmaLinux 10, with firewalld off and on. Each scores 0% untouched, 100% solved after a reboot, and 0% after reset and start again.
  • The managed nodes come from nodes_up. Tasks that a container node can't do run against the control node over localhost ansible_connection=local, with spare disks where needed: storage, SELinux and time in 9.2, 9.4, 9.7 and 8.4.
  • No lab needs a Red Hat account.
    • ansible-navigator comes from PyPI in a venv.
    • Execution environments are built locally, use the public community-ansible-dev-tools image, or are turned off.
    • Collections come from Ansible Galaxy, with community.general held below 12 to stay compatible with ansible-core 2.16.
  • Some labs need internet access when they start: AlmaLinux mirrors, Ansible Galaxy, PyPI and ghcr.io.
