Since a couple of days we have the option to move the basic / main folders in the left sidebar.

That was a great addition!

But when you move a message (v) the custom folder order is not preserved.

In my example the Concepts, Trash, Spam and Send are on the bottom of all my added folders.

hey there, glad you found us at the new location. I am working on getting my pipelines and runners set back up, and getting used to GitLab's layout. This is in queue though, great first test run.

Thanks for the report and the annotated screenshot, that made it easy to pin down. You're right: the move-to picker (v) ignored the folder order and sorted everything A–Z by path, so Concepten, Verzonden, Spam and Prullenbak ended up in among your own folders.

Fixed in !7. The picker now lists folders exactly as the sidebar does: Inbox first, then the order you've dragged them into, then any unordered special folders, then the rest A–Z, with subfolders directly under their parent. It will be in the next release.
