Hello,
Before reporting the issue, I want to really thank for this amazing tool. I've been running my own mail server for 6 years now and finally find the right web-mail (and more) for me. Really appreciate the work you are doing.

About the issue:

Shift+I and Shift+U fail to trigger the “mark as read” and “mark as unread” actions. The keyboard shortcut normalization treats shifted letters as uppercase characters instead of matching the registered shift+i / shift+u bindings.
Normalize shifted letter keys to lowercase while retaining the shift modifier so these shortcuts resolve correctly.

Thank you, Joe, both for the fix and for the kind words. Six years of running your own mail server and settling on ihasmail means a lot to hear.

Your diagnosis was spot on. I've brought your patch over as #399, with you credited as co-author on the commit. The only change on top is one existing test that still expected Shift+E to produce "E"; it now expects "shift+e". It'll close this issue when it merges.

Very happy to contribute my little bit to this amazing project, love the stack BTW and approach

I used mailu server with snappy on the front till 2 weeks ago (which I'm very grateful with) and decided to give stalwart a try and 😮😮😮, I'm astonished on the quality of the server and also the clients like yours.
