+# ihasmail GitHub archive
+
+A read-only record of ihasmail's issues, pull requests and discussions from
+GitHub, where the project lived until the account was suspended without
+notice on 2026-09-20. Nothing was exported before it went dark, so this was
+rebuilt from what survived elsewhere:
+
+- **GH Archive**: the public event stream, with full text and exact times
+  for the period the repository was public.
+- **GitHub notification emails**: other people's issues and comments.
+- **Maintainer session logs**: issues and pull requests as they were viewed
+  or written while working on the project.
+- **Git history**: every merged pull request's title, date and commit.
+
+Numbers match GitHub's, so a commit that says `#334` means issue #334 here.
+Each entry ends with a note of where its text came from. Entries labeled
+`partial` are missing part of their text, `no record` marks numbers that
+existed but could not be recovered, and pull requests and discussions are
+labeled as such. Comments appear under their original authors' GitHub names.
+
+New issues go to the main repository: coffey-labs/ihasmail.
